How to Prepare for TOEFL?

  • There are two methods to prepare for the TOEFL: self-study and attending coaching programmes. Which path you take is determined on your degree of language competence and comfort. You do not need to attend coaching lessons if you are already fluent in English; you may prepare for the exam on your own. You only need to determine when you should begin preparing for TOEFL.
  • Furthermore, if money is an issue, self-study is a preferable alternative. However, keep in mind that in order to study independently, you must have access to the most up-to-date preparation suggestions for each portion of the TOEFL exam.
  • Coaching classes, on the other hand, are an excellent alternative if you don't have enough time and require expert supervision for test preparation. Your time will be better handled because attending lessons on a regular basis will become part of your habit.

TOEFL vs IELTS which is more accepted

The TOEFL is more often recognised by American colleges, while the IELTS is more commonly accepted abroad, however scores from either exam are accepted by many chools. However, a school's choice for which exam you take should be considered as well.
English language certificates are helpful in gaining admission to prestigious colleges. Many of them demand you to obtain the predetermined grades in order to be eligible to apply. A good score, in any case, boosts your chances of admission.
